 The Story Begins

So, this was the land that she would stop at? Was she really that weak as to stop moving after all this time? She was only three, and she had pledged her life as a loner after escaping. She had pledged that she would never hold herself responsible for any other dog. She would take no duty and would honor only her own wishes.

But, she was three now. She was sick of traveling, having no friends. She wanted a family, something she had never believed she would want. Something Epic had believed an impossible theory. She'd never wanted to speak to a male, touch one, have him to touch her. But now, she was having those odd feelings. She began to pay more attention to the brutes. They interested her and she began to sympathize with them. They to only wanted a family and respect. So why had she always turned tail and walked off? Because that was the kind of bitch she was. If the brute didn't respect her, her as a dog, a member of the species, then to hell with him.

She was tired. Her sides panted as she looked around. At first, the lands appeared unclaimed, not a scent in the area. And so, the Brittany had stuck her nose to the ground, burrowing, searching for some trace of another. She herself didn't want to claim a land. She was a fit leader, but she didn't want to serve alone, and then have to find a bull to serve with her that didn't want her for just pups and the alpha position. No, that would tear the bitch apart.

But she had to make a name for herself, none the less. Though she had sworn to be a loner, she'd always wanted to fulfil her name. She wanted to write an epic by her actions. For she was Epic, and she was dishonoring the name everytime she passed a likely home away. Breathing in quickly, she gasped, the place smelled of humans everywhere. This obviously wasn't a fit place to carry out her life. Her life had to much meaning, potential, and future to waste living here with the filthy humans. There were carts everywhere and one came at her, flying quickly towards her. She almost didn't move in time, but then again, Epic always moved in time. At the last second she jumped to the side to see an angry chinaman glaring at her. He'd pushed the cart at her on purpose! Letting her hackles rise up she snarled before sticking her tail and nose up in the air and stalking away. Into the dark. She hated the dark, but who cares? She was tough. And by dark I don't mean night, I mean unnatural dark. Such as the dark of a cage.

It was time she got over these things though. Growling to herself she stalked in and sat, thinking about what she had seen here since she'd arrived. She'd looked at the packs, but only one struck her fancy. The scent of a warrior had hung strongly there, and the land spoke of mystery and deeper meanings. Of stories waiting to be told, fights ready to be written, metaphors to be created. The name rang clearly through her thoughts. Armaggeddon. Yes, that's where she could see herself in the next chapter of her life. Reaching for the stars, she laughed and howled eerily, calling out for the Knight who ruled the world.

Night was falling deep into the lay of the land, and an eerie mist was cast upon them, laying low upon the flattened tracks, and wetting both grass and concrete alike, letting it to shimmer beneath the weak moonlight. Flowers closed their buds gently, protectiveness from the cold, and the world seemed to seal itself into a barricaded wall of guardedness although the brute that strode confidentially through the city took no notice of such events. Dark gaze was fixated firmly ahead of him, and his long whip like tail lashed in his rear, whipping against the backs of his legs with harsh pin pricks of pain before falling down in a continuous circle.

Auds rose high, perking alertly against the sides of his skull where the yellow hued ears tapered off neatly, and he tilted his dome at an angular sideways motion, grim smile stretching the Anatolian's squared muzzle. So someone deems themselves worthy of Armaggeddon standards, he thought maliciously, quickening his gait and loping in his intimidating state towards the area of the city known to locals as 'china town'.

Armaggeddon had been made of his fury, and only the best would be accepted. Dominic's past was a fearsome one; full to the brim of anger and pain, but the brute intended to move on now, though at the thought his heart twanged painfully. Mia! her name flashed through his mind longingly, and he shuddered, his massive frame running with a fluid ease, and the black lined jowls flapped beneath him, an intimidating vision to any two, three or four legger that he should stumble across no doubt, although presumably the canine that issued the summoning call had scouted him out beforehand and knew what to expect.

Tightening his shoulders, Dominic continued on his way, refusing to think of Mia once again, or the story behind what caused him to leave Mukti, and the homelands of the gang that had once been his. This was a new era, and a new start .... Now nobody would dare to challenge him, and those that did would understand that they faced the penalty of death in doing so. He was Knight of all that stood before him ....

Limbs drew him to the meeting place, and it wasn't long before his intense fixated gaze landed upon the largened form of a spotted Spaniel that stood before him, waiting patiently for his arrival. Immediately his orbs delved into action, eyeing her bodice with increasing interest as pillars slowed and the brute walked towards her in a careless saunter, brows furrowing together slightly as he approached.

So, he said coldly, and almost in a lazy sounding drawl, You're wanting to join Armaggeddon, then? The question remained hanging in thin air, and Dominic drew level with the bitch, majestic back arched, and his neck drew away from the remainders of his frame, sniffing the air around the fae with interest.

Who are you, and what's your reason for ending here, at this desloate place? Words shot out sharp and short in bullet form, staccato'ly hitting into the night. It was none of his business technically, but then again the brujo couldn't be expected to accept canines into his pack when he knew nothing whatsoever about them. Cold gaze stared down the Brittany bitch without fear, in fact almost without emotion; it was as though he had closed himself off to the world as a canine, and was speaking from the view of an emotionless, cold and cheerless brute, which wasn't quite true ... but no longer would the soft dog wear his heart upon his sleeve. Those days were gone.
